SkinArt is about the true art of tattoos, including a gallery and information regarding artists.

The idea
I decided to create an app to help people find the best and most creative tattoos with links to studios/artists. Only the best and well designed tattoos will be displayed within the app. Branding is clean and simple with a logo representing an ink drop.
By using the app, you can search for and browse through thousands of tattoos based on criteria like location, style, or artists' portfolios. You'll be able to see what kind of work each studio does before visiting, so you really know what you're getting into!
The app also cuts down timewasting by using the chatbot which asks questions such as age, budget, type of tattoo wanted etc. Only users over 18 are allowed to book an appointment and would need to bring a copy of their ID to the booking.

The design
I wanted the app to be clean and have a modern interface with a focus on beautiful and amazing tattoos. The homepage is minimal with a search bar to find tattoos and to guide the user I showcased the top searched tattoo categories such as sleeve, body etc.

When I began working on this app, I had a few goals in mind. I wanted to make sure that the aesthetics of the app were high quality and would help users enjoy using it. During my research, I noticed that many apps just put any basic design on their product and don't spend much time on making sure it is visually appealing. However, if you want your app to stand out in an already crowded marketplace, you need to present a high-quality user experience. With my several years of working directly with advertising brands, I was able to put all my knowledge and experience into creating a truly good user experience.
